Lulushanti Yoga studio opened its doors almost 10 years ago in the heart of Albufeira in the Algarve. 

Currently open for group and one to one private practices.

Zoom classes

All classes in Albufeira are available to join in person and online. You can drop in if you're passing by or visiting on holiday, buy a class pack which entitles you to join live group sessions or online, or you can join the monthly plan. Please discuss with Lulu which programme best suits you and your lifestyle.

Lulu was born and raised in Portugal until the age of 13. Leaving her family behind, she pursued a future career in Performing Arts. The competitive nature of auditions and stage life, forced Lulu to let go of her passion. Unsure of her future, Lulu gravitated towards her academic interest; Psychology. During her first years at university, Lulu discovered the magical world of yoga and swapped bar crawls for late night yoga practices. Psychology and yoga seemed the perfect combination to help others heal themselves; making simple lifestyle changes, understanding the mind and exploring the psychical shell to release negative energy and find balance on multiple levels

 

In 2003, Lulu attended her first teacher training in Thailand, completing her Ashtanga Foundation qualification. Since then, Lulu has attended several continuing teacher training programs, yoga conferences and workshops to improve her knowledge as both student and teacher. Lulu now lives in Portugal with her family, partner and 2 children, teaching  regular group and private classes to adults and kids, yoga retreats and teacher training programs.

 

  • 18 years and over 20,000 hours teaching experience

  • 200 hour Ashtanga Teacher Training with Paul Dalaghan

  • 75 hours Second Series Teacher Training with David Swenson

  • 25 hours Yoga Anatomy with Yoga Medicine

  • 500+ hours Continuing Education; Yoga conference in Chicago & Barcelona

  • 40 hours Rainbow Kids Yoga

  • 75 hours Prenatal & Post Natal Yoga

  • 25 Hours Yoga Trapeze
