Namaste
The beauty of yoga is that yoga is literally for everyone. Allow me to invite you to enjoy 'your practice'. Perhaps it's time to roll out your mat and embrace the benefits that yoga has to offer. Discover the combination of physical postures, mental exercises and breathing techniques that will create balance and ease in your life. Tuning into your body's subtle energy flows will heighten your awareness and relationship with your truer self, and the way we relate to the world around us. The body in yoga is the vehicle for the development of wisdom, spiritual awakening and self discovery.
“True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; it is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; it cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.” Aadil Palkhivala, Fire of Love
My Story

Lulu was born and raised in Portugal until the age of 13. Leaving her family behind, she pursued a future career in Performing Arts. The competitive nature of auditions and stage life, discouraged her to continue, leaving behind her passion for performance she searched for a more meaningful and fulfilling future. Unsure of what her path would look like, Lulu gravitated towards her academic interest in Psychology. During her first years at university, Lulu discovered (by chance) the world of yoga, swapping bar crawls for evening yoga practices in South Wimbledon. Psychology and yoga seemed the perfect combination to heal the self; choosing simple living, a vegetarian diet, studies of wisdom to understand the mind, to nurture the soul and honouring the physical shell (remembering that our body is our temple). Through the beautiful forms of the yoga postures, and the integration of body awareness and breathe, we create the balance and clarity we search for in our daily lives; Giving us strength and empowerment in a society that is unstable.

In 2003, Lulu attended her first teacher training in Thailand, completing her Ashtanga Foundation qualification. Lulu has attended several continuing teacher training programs, yoga conferences and workshops to improve her knowledge as both student and teacher. In 2004, Lulu went on to study Reflexology as a complimentary therapy which expanded her knowledge of the human body and discovering new ways to heal from daily challenges or trauma. She now lives in the Algarve, Portugal with her family, teaching regular group and private classes to adults and kids, yoga retreats and teacher training programs. Since we are always learning, Lulu is currently working towards her 550 hour Ayurvedic yoga therapy training.
